The house developed a once derelict area at the rear of a large Victorian villa, linking parts of the existing house with a new insertion to provide a contextual yet contemporary mews house arranged over 3 three levels of accommodation.
A contemporary glass and timber stair leads to the main living space within the new insertion at first floor level. A vaulted ceiling and full height glazing create a light and airy space at the heart of the building. The kitchen and guest bedroom is linked off this central space within the refurbished existing barn and the private master bedroom suite is accessed across the hall via a glass bridge.
