Located in the civic quarter of the Manchester city centre the project comprises 256 apart-hotel rooms over a 4 star hotel containing 328 rooms. The massing and elevational treatment of the two different uses is clearly expressed. From 1st floor upwards the building structure and envelope is constructed from precast concrete panels creating a rigour on the façade.
